Our Quiet Mornings have been designed for neurodivergent visitors, people with sensory differences or disabilities, or anyone who would benefit from a calm and quiet environment.

Quiet Mornings offer a lower stress space to enjoy our exhibitions. To ensure a more peaceful experience, we reduce visitor numbers and minimise noise throughout the Gallery. We ask that Quiet Morning visitors please respect others and talk quietly. Phones and devices must be switched off or placed on silent.

A Visual Story will be sent to visitors in advance of their visit to help prepare for the experience of visiting the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award 2026.

Quiet Mornings have been designed for visitors to enjoy our exhibitions independently; please be aware that these sessions do not include a tour or workshop.

Important information:

• Tickets and cloakroom are free, but booking is essential to reserve your place.
• A carer or companion does not need to book a ticket.
• Guide and assistance dogs are very welcome in the Gallery. Please ensure your dog is wearing its harness within the Gallery.
