Relaxed Mornings – Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait @ National Portrait Gallery, London

June 21 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Our Relaxed Mornings are designed for children with SEND, their families and carers, as well as individuals of any age with sensory differences or disabilities.

Relaxed Mornings provide an informal, friendly and safe environment where visitors can explore exhibitions at their own pace, in their own way, without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds.

We aim to ensure reduced visitor numbers during our Relaxed Mornings and minimise audio-visual and other sensory elements inside the Gallery. Chill-out zones and a range of creative tools, including Sensory Bags that are free to borrow, are available for visitors to enjoy within the exhibition.

A Visual Story will be sent to visitors in advance of their visit to help them prepare for the experience of visiting Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait.

Relaxed Mornings have been designed for visitors to enjoy our exhibitions independently; please be aware these sessions do not include a tour or workshop.
