Deaf Science Day @ Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh

Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh’s Science Centre & Planetarium, is hosting Deaf Science Day on Wednesday 12th March.
In collaboration with the Scottish Sensory Centre at Edinburgh University, Dynamic Earth will open its doors with special adjustments made with Deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors in mind as part of our first ever Deaf Science Day.
What to Expect:
- Subtitled exhibits throughout the day
- Brightened spaces to ensure interpreters are easily visible
- Planetarium shows with BSL interpretation
- School workshops delivered in BSL by inspiring Deaf scientists
At Dynamic Earth, we believe everyone can be a problem solver of the future! This event is a unique opportunity to inspire curiosity and creativity in science while making adjustments to ensure Deaf visitors feel welcome and engaged.
