DESCRIPTION:Dawnosaurs: Relaxed Morning Visit\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent information\n\n\nNeurodivergent children and their families have the opportunity to explore the museum before anyone else and enjoy activities around different themes. \n19 February\, 10 May\, 23 July\, 11 October\, 6 December \n08.00-10.00 \nFree\, booking required \nTickets for February and May will go on sale in early January\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDawnosaurs is a free event for neurodivergent children (including autism ADHD\, Tourette’s\, OCD and other sensory processing difficulties). \nEnjoy the Museum\, free from the hustle and bustle of the general public. Visitors have access to a wide range of galleries and activities\, supported by and led by experienced\, neurodivergent-aware facilitators. \nThis event is best for children aged five to 15\, and siblings are welcome. \nTickets\nIt’s essential that all visitors book a free ticket online in advance. To ensure a peaceful experience\, we reduce visitor numbers and minimise noise throughout the Gallery. We ask that Quiet Morning visitors please respect others and talk quietly. Which is why – although we do ask you to select an arrival time – we are flexible if you happen to get here a little earlier or later than your slot. \nChill Out Room:\nNeed some time out away from the main museum? Just ask any of our Enablers (the people in purple shirts with “Eureka! Science + Discovery” written on them) for access to our Chill Out Room. \nEar defenders:\nYou can borrow a pair of ear defenders for free from our Information Desk (by the admissions tills) – subject to availability\, obvs. \nFully accessible venue:\nIncluding lifts and a Changing Places loo. \nTrained\, supportive staff:\nOur whole team are trained in disability awareness\, and we really want you all to have a great day out.
