DESCRIPTION:Dynamic Earth’s Relaxed Opening Hours aim to provide a calm and inclusive environment for visitors; designed for those who would benefit from a more relaxed visit\, but open to everyone. These sessions prioritise sensory comfort without compromising on the overall Dynamic Earth experience. \nWe are looking forward to our next Relaxed Opening Hours Day on Thursday 13th November 2025.  We want everyone to have the entire day to fully experience all that Dynamic Earth has to offer. That’s why our Relaxed Hours run throughout the whole day from 10am-3pm. \nDuring our Relaxed Opening Hours day\, the following adjustments are made: \nReduced visitor numbers throughout the day.\nAlterations to lighting and audio features.\nAdditional accessibility resources available\, including sensory bags\, social stories and sensory maps.\nDisability and neurodiversity awareness training for staff.\nCaptions on all videos\, and BSL interpretation on selected Planetarium shows.\nA wide range of sensory aids\nFlexible admission to our tour and Planetarium.\nDesignated quiet space for visitors to use.\nFurther information on visitor accessibility can be found here.
