Spend the day exploring our fascinating collection\, including trams and trolleybuses\, electric Underground stock\, the pioneering 1967 automatic trains and early hybrid vehicles. \nWhat’s happening\n\nHands-on fun: get creative with electric-themed drop-in activities designed for all ages\nHistoric vehicles: see iconic trams\, trolleybuses and electric Underground trains up close\nInteractive demos: watch live demonstrations from expert speakers showcasing the future of sustainable travel\nCurious minds welcome: learn about iconic electric posters\, electric vehicles of the past\, and what’s next for London’s transport\nSEND-friendly hours: designed for visitors with additional needs\, including visitors with special educational needs and disabled visitors\n\nIt’s a day packed with discovery\, creativity and family fun\, perfect for curious kids and grown-ups alike. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets\nAdult: £19 / £18 concession / £15.50 local resident\nChild 4-17 years of age: £10 / £8 local resident\nChildren under 3 years of age: Free \nSEND-friendly hour\nSaturday\, 4 July – 10:00 – 11:00\nThese sessions are especially for our visitors with additional needs\, including visitors with special educational needs and disabled visitors. \nAnnual Pass Plus holders\nAnnual Pass Plus holders can book free entry for you and two children to all our Depot Open Days. DESCRIPTION:Dawnosaurs: Relaxed Morning Visit\n\n\nNeurodivergent children and their families have the opportunity to explore the museum before anyone else and enjoy activities around different themes. \n\nBook your tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n08:00–10:00 \n\n\n\nFree\, booking required \n\n\n\nEast Entrance on Exhibition Road \n\n\n\n\nFamilies\n\n\nOut of hours\n\n\nRelaxed visit\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDawnosaurs is a free event for neurodivergent children\, including those with autism\, ADHD\, Tourette’s\, OCD and other sensory processing difficulties. \nEnjoy the Museum\, free from the hustle and bustle of the general public. Visitors have access to a wide range of galleries and activities supported by and led by experienced\, neurodivergent-aware facilitators. \nThis event is best for children aged five to 15\, and siblings are welcome. \nIt’s essential that all visitors book a free ticket online. DESCRIPTION:New for 2026: Banqueting House Relaxed Events & Deaf-led Tours\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year we will be introducing Relaxed Events and Deaf-led Tours at Banqueting House for young people and adults (16+). \nDiscover one of London’s most remarkable historic spaces. Completed in 1622 as part of the grand Palace of Whitehall\, the magnificent Banqueting House is the only building to survive the devastating fire of 1698.  \nStep inside James I’s ‘great hall’ and gaze up at nine breathtaking ceiling paintings by Rubens – the only surviving in-situ Rubens ceiling painting.
