DESCRIPTION:Art Explorers: Collage Creations\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWednesday 18th February  \n10am – 4pm \n\n\n\n\n3:30pm – 4pm is Quiet Hour at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. This session has a smaller capacity to ensure a quieter experience for those with sensory needs. \n\n\n\n\n\nFull access information for London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for free\, hands-on art activities for children and families inspired by our newest installation\, Room with All Existing Words by Mark Manders. Working with our friendly facilitators children will use collage and paper cutting to create their own artworks\, taking inspiration from Manders’ monumental sculptures and artworks that appear like mysterious ancient relics. \nCreate something unique before exploring the atmospheric Temple of Mithras below and the Roman artefacts discovered on this historic site. \nSuitable for children aged 5–11\, with all ages welcome. \nPlease book a 30-minute time slot. \n\n\n\n\nBook your free tickets now

DESCRIPTION:The Relaxed Afternoon is for anyone who would like to visit to the Kirkcaldy Galleries without noisy interactives and videos. The afternoon is mainly for families with neurodivergent children\, neurodivergent young people and their friends and carers but everyone else is welcome too. \nPlease note that the museum will remain open to all visitors\, but audio and video displays will be turned down or completely off\, and a Quiet Space is available for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed. \nWe are also offering some additional self-led activities on the day: \n\nPattern Block activity\nColouring-In\nA Sensory Space\nGame On – a casual board and video game club at café Wemyss\, from 5pm-6:30pm\n\nThe Relaxed Afternoon is an open session – it does not have a specific start time. Please arrive at time that suits you best. The building closes at 7pm.

Visitors have access to a wide range of galleries and activities supported by and led by experienced\, neurodivergent-aware facilitators. \nThis event is best for children aged five to 15\, and siblings are welcome. \nIt’s essential that all visitors book a free ticket online.
