DESCRIPTION:A relaxed day for disabled visitors and their families. \nBook your visit\nWe’re running ‘relaxed’ SENdays on various dates throughout 2025 for disabled visitors and their families!\nVisit our online sensory guide to help you prepare for your visit!\nSign up for our Access All Areas email list to be the first to hear about accessible events and updates\nWhat’s relaxed about it?\nLow visitor numbers:\nWe’ve heavily restricted ticket availability on this day so our galleries will be much less busy than usual.\nFlexible timings:\nWe want this day to work around you! Which is why – although we do ask you to select an arrival time – we are flexible if you happen to get here a little earlier or later than your slot.\nChill Out Room:\nNeed some time out away from the main museum? Just ask any of our Enablers (the people in light blue shirts with “Team Eureka!” written on the back) for access to our Chill Out Room.\nEar Defenders:\nYou can borrow a pair of ear defenders for free from our Information desk (by the admissions tills) – subject to availability\, obvs.\nTrained\, supportive staff:\nOur whole team is trained in disability awareness\, and we really want you all to have a great day out. Just ask us if there’s anything we can do to support you 😊\nDo I have to pre-book?\nYes please! All visitors must pre-book\, even if you are an existing annual pass holder. SUMMARY:Finish This... 2026/27 - Bookings Now Open!
DESCRIPTION:Finish This… is ENO’s inclusive national music making programme for KS2\, KS3 and SEND learners; inspiring young composers across the country; bringing a fusion opera\, film and animation into schools\, as a creative springboard for collaborative composition work. Co-created with teachers the project aligns with the school curriculum and is suitable for all levels of experience and musical ability.\n\nWho is it for?\nThe programme has three learner strands\, co-produced with teacher champions:\n\n\n\nKS2 primary\n\n\nKS3 secondary\n\n\nSEND schools\n\n\n\nSchools can sign up to as many projects as they would like throughout the academic year 2026-27. The programme is free of charge for state schools. Independent schools are welcome to apply to take part at a charge of £200 per class.\n\nAs part of the project\, schools get access to:\n\n\nTeacher learning resource pack (including template lesson plans\, teaching materials)\n\n\nOperatic music performed by the world-class ENO Orchestra and Chorus\n\n\nComposition toolkit\, with digital and printed resources delivered to your school\n\n\nOnline CPD and briefings for teachers\, introducing the toolkit and new approaches to making music in the classroom\n\n\n\nHow to join?\nBookings are now open and will close on Friday 10th of July.
