DESCRIPTION:A relaxed day for disabled visitors and their families. \nBook your visit\nWe’re running ‘relaxed’ SENdays on various dates throughout 2025 for disabled visitors and their families!\nVisit our online sensory guide to help you prepare for your visit!\nSign up for our Access All Areas email list to be the first to hear about accessible events and updates\nWhat’s relaxed about it?\nLow visitor numbers:\nWe’ve heavily restricted ticket availability on this day so our galleries will be much less busy than usual.\nFlexible timings:\nWe want this day to work around you! Which is why – although we do ask you to select an arrival time – we are flexible if you happen to get here a little earlier or later than your slot.\nChill Out Room:\nNeed some time out away from the main museum? Just ask any of our Enablers (the people in light blue shirts with “Team Eureka!” written on the back) for access to our Chill Out Room.\nEar Defenders:\nYou can borrow a pair of ear defenders for free from our Information desk (by the admissions tills) – subject to availability\, obvs.\nTrained\, supportive staff:\nOur whole team is trained in disability awareness\, and we really want you all to have a great day out. Just ask us if there’s anything we can do to support you 😊\nDo I have to pre-book?\nYes please! All visitors must pre-book\, even if you are an existing annual pass holder. There will be a very limited number of tickets available on this day and you won’t be able to pay on the day.  \nTo join us on our upcoming Relaxed SENDay (listed below)\, just book as usual via our Online Bookings System:\n– Sunday 20th July \nRemember: Essential carers visit for free\, and Max Card holders can bring 1 adult and 1 child free per card. \nYou receive 12 months of unlimited free visits with standard admission (excluding visits booked using Tesco Reward points)\, and our Relaxed SENDay event is free for existing annual pass holders. \nWe schedule our SENDays as regularly as possible\, across our two venues.\nThey will usually take place at one or other of our sites every few months\, and on different days of the week where possible to broaden opportunities to attend to more families.\nEureka! is committed to running these quieter sessions for a full day\, rather than just quiet or “twilight” hours\, and with reduced ticket numbers and additional activities\, as often as programming\, staffing and seasonal events allow. \nWhat makes Eureka! an accessible venue\nInfo to help you prepare for your visit: \nRead our Access Information\nView our Sensory Guide\nCheck out our AccessAble Guide\nAnything else we can do for you during your visit?
