DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Quiet Afternoon on Sunday 24th August 2025\, from 2pm – 5pm. \nDuring our Quiet Afternoons\, you will find reduced visitor numbers and a designated a quiet space for all to use. Additionally\, all videos in our galleries will be captioned and the 4pm Planetarium show includes BSL interpretation. \nAccessibility is essential to what we do at Dynamic Earth to allow everyone to discover understanding and empathy for the Earth. In addition to reduced capacity\, our standard accessibility features include additional resources such as sensory bags\, social stories\, and sensory maps. Our staff undergo disability and neurodiversity awareness training\, and we offer a wide range of sensory aids. \nFurther information on visitor accessibility can be found here. This event is a unique opportunity to inspire curiosity and creativity in science while making adjustments to ensure Deaf visitors feel welcome and engaged. \nTickets can be purchased on the day at Dynamic Earth.
