DESCRIPTION:Relaxed Events: Young People and Adults\, Kensington Palace\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA relaxed morning event for Neurodivergent & Disabled adults and adults living with or affected by dementia and their family/friends.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSkip the event ticket details and go to event summary. \n\n\n\n When\nSunday 15 November 2026 \n10:00 – 12:00 \n\n Booking information\nTickets for this event are £1.00 per person. \nYou do not have to leave the site after the event ends\, however it will get considerably busier and louder after 12:00. \n\nSeparate ticket (advance booking required) \nBuy tickets \n\nEvents\nAccess\n\n\nStart of the events summaryRelaxed events at Kensington Palace are Neuroinclusive\, quiet morning events. We welcome anyone who identifies as Neurodivergent\, Learning-Disabled or Disabled. This includes ADHD\, Autism\, Anxiety\, OCD\, Tourette’s\, Dementia and all other sensory and processing difficulties. \nEnjoy two hours at Kensington Palace free from crowds between the hours of 10:00 – 12:00. \nThe event will include free entry to Kensington Palace\, access to our exhibition and access to relaxed and SEN programming lead by disability aware contractors and facilitators. \nCrowd levels are limited\, and access considerations have been made to ensure you\, and your group can enjoy the Palace free from loud sound effects and harsh lighting. \nA café and retail space will also be available. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent information\nCrowd levels will be kept to a minimum for these events. Ticket capacity is much lower than standard days and only ticket holders will be permitted entry during the event time slots. \nLighting\, sound and general effects throughout the Palace will be minimised or turned off for your comfort. \nContent warnings (where applicable) will be placed upon spaces that may contain material audiences may find distressing. \nWe will not be asking for proof of disability or supporting documents for these events. \nVisitors with limited mobility\nKensington Palace is a historic building with difficult stairs and passageways\, including spiral staircases\, and wheelchair access is limited. There are some low and narrow doorways. \nResources\nA visual story will be emailed to you two weeks before the event takes place. The visual story will detail your arrival and what to expect from our activity offer at Kensington Palace. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a low-stim opening of the exhibitions ‘Audrey Amiss: The Surviving Exhibitions‘ and ‘Rudy Loewe: Intimacies of Care – Spaces of Grief and Possibility’. \nLow-stim sessions provide a calm environment. They are designed to reduce additional sensory stimulation like loud noises\, bright lights and strong scents. \nYou will find: \n\nfewer people in the exhibitions\nlower light levels in the gallery and around the building\nlower sound levels in the gallery and around the building\nvisitors are encouraged to keep phones on silent and to speak quietly\nvisitors and staff are encouraged not to wear strong scents\n\nThe rest of our building will be closed to other visitors so you’ll need to book at ticket to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Night Owls is a sensory friendly event for visitors aged 16+ who need a quieter environment to enjoy the museum. \n\nNext Night Owls:  Saturday 21 November 2026\nThis event is suitable for those who benefit from visiting the museum without the hustle and bustle of the general public – for example autistic visitors or those with sensory processing differences. \nOn selected dates across the year\, we open the museum after hours exclusively to a reduced number of people and\, wherever possible\, with lowered volume and noise levels. \nWe will be celebrating all things space this year at Night Owls. Visitors will be able to: \n\nJoin our Explainer team on a journey through the Solar System with one of our Space on a Sphere talks.\nTake inspiration from the Artemis missions with some space exploration themed hands-on workshops and craft activities.\nExplore our museum galleries including the iconic objects in our Space gallery.\n\nNight Owls visitors will also have an opportunity to book tickets to lower capacity sessions in Power Up at a reduced rate. \nThere will also be quiet areas for those needing to take a break. More details on exactly what to expect on the day will be sent out in advance of each Night Owls event. \nGeneral admission to Night Owls accessible events is free and suitable for visitors aged 16+.
