Depot open days: powering London

Join us this summer as we celebrate all things electric at our summer Depot open days.
Step behind the scenes at our working Depot and explore how electricity has powered the city for over 125 years, from the first electric trams to today’s cutting-edge technology.
The Museum Depot is a treasure trove of transport history, usually closed to the public. Spend the day exploring our fascinating collection, including trams and trolleybuses, electric Underground stock, the pioneering 1967 automatic trains and early hybrid vehicles.
