Relaxed Opening Hours @ Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh

RELAXED OPENING HOURS: NOVEMBER
Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 [Last entry 2pm] Dynamic Earth’s Relaxed Opening Hours aim to provide a calm and inclusive environment for visitors; designed for those who would benefit from a more relaxed visit, but open to everyone. These sessions prioritise sensory comfort without compromising on the overall Dynamic Earth experience.

During Relaxed Opening hours, the following changes will be made:

Reduced visitor numbers throughout the day.
Alterations to lighting and audio features.
Additional accessibility resources available, including sensory bags, social stories and sensory maps.
Disability and neurodiversity awareness training for staff.
Subtitles, written transcripts and braille transcripts available.
Flexible admission to our tour and Planetarium.
Designated quiet space for visitors to use.
Tailored workshops and Planetarium shows for school and community groups.
