New for 2026: Banqueting House Relaxed Events & Deaf-led Tours
|
This year we will be introducing Relaxed Events and Deaf-led Tours at Banqueting House for young people and adults (16+).
Discover one of London’s most remarkable historic spaces. Completed in 1622 as part of the grand Palace of Whitehall, the magnificent Banqueting House is the only building to survive the devastating fire of 1698.
Step inside James I’s ‘great hall’ and gaze up at nine breathtaking ceiling paintings by Rubens – the only surviving in-situ Rubens ceiling painting. Then venture below into the atmospheric Undercroft, once a private drinking den for King James I and his friends.
