This event, exploring objects from Clocks and watches (Rooms 38–39), The Sir Harry and Lady Djanogly Gallery, is designed to be more accessible for children and adults who are autistic, learning disabled, or have mental health conditions.
The event will take place in selected galleries at the Museum (Rooms 1–2a, 24–27, 36–39, 41–43a), which will open at 6pm until 8pm for two hours, after the Museum closes to the public.
Visitors can explore the galleries and take part in sensory-based activities including object-handling and arts and crafts. Including designing your own working ticking clock using card, pencils and a clock mechanism and making your own sundial using paper.
We will be joined by artist James Shreeve from the national arts charity ‘Outside in’.
Generously supported by the Lord Leonard and Lady Estelle Wolfson Foundation.
