Relaxed Day @ Gunnersbury Park Museum, London

Our ‘Relaxed Days’ are designed for families who would benefit from a quiet, relaxed and welcoming environment. It is aimed at neurodiverse children and young people, and those with sensory processing, physical or learning disabilities, whether diagnosed or not. Siblings, friends, family and carers are welcome to join in the fun.

Visitors will be able to:
Explore the museum’s galleries with reduced noise and light levels
Become object detectives, exploring at special objects from the Museum’s collection up close
Take part in the Alien Egg trail
Get creative at the junk modelling station
Dress in outer space themed costumes
Lounge like a lord in our chill out zone
Picnic in the Conservatory looking over the park

Relaxed Day activities are suitable for neurodiverse children and young people aged between 4 – 25 and their families.

All children and young people must be accompanied by a parent, carer or responsible adult.
