Relaxed Afternoon @ Kirkcaldy Galleries, Scotland
The Relaxed Afternoon is for anyone who would like to visit to the Kirkcaldy Galleries without noisy interactives and videos. The afternoon is mainly for families with neurodivergent children, neurodivergent young people and their friends and carers but everyone else is welcome too.
Please note that the museum will remain open to all visitors, but audio and video displays will be turned down or completely off, and a Quiet Space is available for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed.
We are also offering some additional self-led activities on the day:
- Pattern Block activity
- Colouring-In
- A Sensory Space
- Game On – a casual board and video game club at café Wemyss, from 5pm-6:30pm
The Relaxed Afternoon is an open session – it does not have a specific start time. Please arrive at time that suits you best. The building closes at 7pm.
