Free autism-friendly early opening at The Library at Willesden Green
9.30-10.30am on Friday 21 February 2025
95 High Rd, London NW10 2SF
For children aged 3-15 plus parents/carers/siblings.
Please come and join us for a special Autism-Friendly morning for children aged 3-15 years with their siblings, parents and carers. This is an autism-friendly hour with quieter space to borrow books and explore the museum and Becoming Brent exhibition. We’ll have two fun I-spies for you to use in the museum (transport and numbers themed).
Please book a free ticket for each person in your group (including siblings and adults)
We’re creating a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals with autism to enjoy the building. Our staff are trained to provide a supportive environment. Whether you want to read, relax, or explore, we’re here to make your visit enjoyable. Join us for a morning tailored just for you!
There are accessible toilets on all floors and a quieter room on the ground floor.
Everyone who books tickets for this special early opening will receive a visual story a week in advance to provide an idea of what to expect on arrival. Please add the email address museum.archives@brent.gov.uk to your contacts to avoid the visual story email going to your junk folder by accident.
The building opens to the general public at 10.30am.
